False Positive? (Avast!)

Hello.

I'm not certain if this is an issue that belongs here or even that you wish to know.

Downloading from the piriform site the latest version of ccleaner free, which is being scanned on download being completed, is blocking 'suspicious' activity.

Basically, what's being stopped is the opening of a randomly named .exe file in the user temp directory.

Windows 7 Pro SP1

Waterfox 39.0 (FireFox 64bit build)

Four downloads done, 2 from Piriform, 2 from FileHippo (one of these 5.07) and all got flagged. I submitted each of them as a false positive.

I have just, this moment, downloaded from Piriform (current version) and this time it was not flagged (?), not sure how that works.

Thank you in advance for your interest

Just use the slim build to avoid these false positives in future

https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds

Most av's are just flagging the bundled Chrome install with the full build.
