HI, I?m playing around with Recuva v1.38.504 running under Windows XP SP3 32bit and have some questions:
1. Is there a possibility to extract the table about the files could be restored after perform a deep scan?
2. Is there a possibility to first restoring all pictures on external disk one, after that restoring all movie files on external disk two and so on without running the deep scan for a second time.
3. Is there any way to save the list of founded files by deep scan and import it after closing and starting program, so that I have to perform the deep scan only once?
There is no way to save the list of files produced by Recuva, either in normal or deep scan.
If you have done a deep scan using the Wizard then switch to Advanced mode. You will then see in the box at the top right-hand Pictures (or Music, etc depending on what option you chose in the wizard). You can then select all the files displayed by checking the top l/h box and recover them to disk one. Then press the red X in the top r/h box, and choose Video from the drop-down list. Check and recover these to disk two. Continue with other selections as you wish.
There is no need to repeat the deep scan between recovering pictures, video, etc as the scan will have already selected all the files from the disk. It's just the filters that enable you to see pics only etc.
But what happens if I have to restart my compter after performing the scan and want to slide away the descision where to save which file. After restarting the software I have to perform the scan again, right?

Even the simple act of restarting the P.C. will change the recoverablity of a file (if on the system drive). So the list would end up being incorrect anyway.
