Exception Error During Registry Scan

I am getting an error on the new version 2.23.993.

It is:Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

I was running a registry scan. I can select continue and the scan will proceed, but if I select try again, I get the same error.

I was not getting this error in the previous versions. I am running windows XP service pack3. There wasn't any fixes needed in the registry if that helps.

I just came online to report the same thing, but mine has an extra '4' in it.

Error window is titled "Windows - No disk", then..., "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c"

Mine's a desktop running WinXP sp2, dual core Athlon 4600+, 2G RAM. Lots of free space on both hard drive partitions (nothing's crowded). Kept very clean & organized with frequent use of most up-to-date versions/updates of the following: CCleaner, Spybot (immunized), Malwarebyte's, AVG antivirus, and both the registry cleaner & disk defragmenter from Auslogics.

Always eager when File Hippo Updater tells me there's a new CCleaner version. First time I've ever had a problem with the registry cleaner in CCleaner.

Anyone know what this is ?

Try running CCleaner in debug mode:

1. Click Start->Run and input the following (you can copy+paste the code below):

"C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe" /debug

2. Open the CCleaner program folder and upload the debug log to help the dev team fix the bug in an upcoming release.

If you're having no luck getting the new version to work correctly download a previous version from FileHippo (look on the right side of the CCleaner page for previous versions):

It's not creating a debug log. When it opens from the run prompt, it says no updates, yet I do not have check for updates automatically checked. Still gets the same exception error only when I run registry scan. I used defraggler and restarted, but that didn't help. I will try a uninstall and reinstall.

EDIT: Uninstall reinstall of same version did not work. It is always at the 55% mark that the error occurs.

EDIT: Installed version 2.22.968 and no problems with it.
