I accidentaly deleted some important files, and installed Recuva to restore them.
The deleted files are succesfully recovered, with excellent status, and no files are overwritten.
The size of the file is 165 kb, but when I restore it and save it to my harddisk, the size goes down to 1 kb, and is impossible to open.
Any suggestions what I can do ?

did you install Recuva onto the same drive that the excel file was deleted off?
are you also restoring the recovered file to the same drive it was deleted off?
but, it does sound like you are still using the very drive you are trying to get the data from.
if so, the space the deleted excel file was in has been 'interfered with' and may have made the file corrupted or overwritten.
