Erreurs de registre diagnostiqu? avec Ccleaner

Hello,

I just formatted my HD and installed Windows XP Pro. After windows updates and installation of maintenance softwares, I checked registry errors with CCleaner. Below the report. I have not yet repaired with CCleaner. Does "missing shared DLL" can be corrected automatically with CCleaner? Is that normal? Should I install the missing dll ?

Je viens de formater mon DD et de réinstaller Windows XP. Après les mises à jour et l'installation de quelques logiciels freeware pour l'entretien, J'ai recherché les erreurs du registre avec CCleaner. Ci-dessous le rapport. Je n'ai pas encore réparé avec CCleaner. Est ce que "DLL partagée manquante" peut être corrigée automatiquement avec CCleaner? Est ce que c'est normal? Devrait-je réinstaller dll manquante manuellement?

Bonjour,

Une règle s'applique avec le nettoyeur du Registre : dans le doute, on touche pas wink.gif

De toute façon, le Registre comporte des dizaines de milliers de clés - il est impossible que la suppression de quelques clés fasse une différence, sauf si le PC a de sérieux problèmes - l'autre usage du nettoyeur de Registre est pour complètement désinstaller une application, puisque pas mal d'entre elles ont la mauvaise habitude de laisser des clés derrières qui peuvent faire croire à d'autres programmes qu'elles sont encore installées.

Les seules clés qui peuvent être "réparées" (comprendre "supprimées") sans trop regarder sont les Vieilles clés du menu Démarrer et les Références MUI manquantes. Les extensions de fichiers inutilisées peuvent, avec un peu de prudence, être elles aussi "réparées".

Le reste, c'est mieux de pas y toucher - les contrôles ActiveX et COM, par exemple, sont souvent la cause d'erreurs si leurs références sont supprimées.

PS : Mais...mais...pourquoi XP ? C'est vieux sad.gif

Si vous décidez de fixer ces clés de registre, il est important de permettre à la sauvegarde lorsque vous êtes invité.

Seems to be an ActiveX control since it's in Downloaded Program Files. If you have problems with IE or another software, fix it (but make sure to do a backup first). Else, don't touch it.

PS : I recommend Windows 7, of course. In computers history, if Windows 7 is nowadays, XP is somewhere around Middle Age.

If you need BitLocker (drive encryption), then yes. Else, the Professional edition will do the job. Unless, of course, you have unlimited amounts of money biggrin.gif

Well, yes, but it's a trial. And I seriously doubt they sell it to anyone other than someone who wants to buy lots of license since it's an "Enterprise Edition".
