Erasing all shortcuts created in Windows Explorer

I need to uninstall Ccleaner from my two setups because two issues:

1) despite I unchecked, he keeps starting when I start the Windows 10

2) the worst. Ccleaner is erasing all my shortcuts I had created in Windows Explorer for my most used folders(quick access). it's doing in some automatic way I once a weak all the time. after cCleaner's update I installed but forgot this issue until this happened again today.

uninstalling AGAIN!!!

When you say CCleaner is starting with Windows do you mean that CCleaner is opening a window on screen, or that it is putting an icon in the system tray?

There are two things that will put an icon in the tray when Windows starts:

  1. Options>Updates>"Keep CCleaner updated automatically".
  2. Options>Smart Cleaning>"Enable Smart Cleaning".

Either one of those if turned on needs to run as a background task, so Windows puts an icon in the tray to show that the background task is running.

For the second issue with the Quick Access shortcuts - are you using Health Check or Custom Clean?

If It's Custom Clean then what settings do you have for Windows Exploter and System?
