I see what looks like a final FF 3.5 at filehippo. Dare I dood it? Or should I wait?

You can also get it straight from Mozilla:

Or in Firefox click: Help->Check for Updates

I'm gonna hold off for now till I hear if the add-ons I like are compatible.
