Early renewal of CCleaner

I resolved my issue

The time remaining on the old licence should be automatically be added to the new one, - but it is an automated process and so may it take a few days (up to 15 days) for that to show on your CCleaner>About>Llicence Information page.

https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039530092-Will-I-lose-any-time-on-my-subscription-if-I-take-an-offer-to-renew-early-

There are also a few reasons why this automatic pocess might not happen, -

  • if you bought a new/different licence key,
  • if you updated from Pro to ProPlus. (Which would be a different licence).
  • if you used a different email address,
  • if there were more than 90 days left on the old licence.

In which case you should email support@ccleaner.com to get the licences merged manually so that the new one starts when the old on ends.

You said a 30% savings if I renewed early, yet your renewal rate is $10 higher than last year's rate. Where is my 30% savings?

Presumably you saw a pop-up offer for a discounted renewal price?

Did you use the link in that pop-up offer, or did you close it and then purchase from the main website?

Renewal pop-up offers like that have a special link which you have to use to get the different price from the main website.

If you did use the link in the pop-up then another thing to consider is if you also got a reduced price last year?

In which case the renewal discount from standard price will be about the same this year, so the renewal price including discount from the standard price will be about the same.

If you contact support by emailing them on support@ccleaner.com from the address that you used to purchase your renewal they can check your transaction and if what you paid is what you should have paid.

Note that the support are working over the Easter break but with reduced staff, so it may takea bit longer to get an answer.

Thank you, nukecad. Much appreciated information.

I hope your beer supply is quickly replenished.
