Duplicate licenses - refund refused - license merge was not offered. Help?

I reached out to support via chat today to request a refund. I accidentally purchased two licenses. Two Windows Professional subscriptions purchased within a month of each other - only noticed today and it’s been nearly a year. I wasn’t offered a license merge, only a “no, you’re out of the 30 day window” reason for no refund. Can anyone help with either a merge, so I don’t lose the money, or a way to get a refund? FWIW, I’d also purchased an Android Subscription and have been using CCLeaner for years. Just want to get it resolved, as it’s been a really useful product for me.

They like to do this. Or trick you into paying for options you already have. Good luck.

It’s really unfortunate. I love the extended tool options, as they’re helpful for keeping my older laptop in good shape. Without those, I wouldn’t have a need for the program at all.

Thanks for the well wishes lol

@Laurence_CCleaner can someone look into the OP’s two license issue.

Hi @Bliss,
Thank you for getting in touch and for flagging this with us — I’m sorry to hear your support experience hasn’t been up to the standard you’d expect.
I’ve escalated your case to our senior support team for review, and you should receive a follow-up from them within 48 hours.
If you have not received any follow up within that time, please message me back so I can investigate further.

To be fair that is entirely your own error.
There is no way that they could have known that you didn’t actually want two licences, ie. one each for two different computers.

I’d think that the best that you could possibley hope for in such a situation would be the merging of the time remaining on each licence. which from what you say would only be an extra month or so anyway.

I suspect though that you are now asking for a full 12 months to be added?

I can’t think of anything that you could purchase two of and then get a full refund for one of them after a year simply because you hadn’t used it.
And that is in effectively what you are asking for here.

Sorry if you don’t like that; but that is the way I see it.
