I am trying to find duplicate files that are larger than a specific file size (> 100MB). I noticed an option to request Duplicate files larger than 100MB but when I run the task I get all files that are both smaller and larger than 100MB. Am I doing something wrong? When the search is complete, I tried to sort the list by size but no luck. Any insight would be much appreciated.
When you get unexpected results then it's usually because the settings haven't been specified quite right for what you want to find.
ie. Too specific or not specific enough.
Can you screenshot the duplicate finder setings that you have set.
Thar's the best way for us to see just what you have told it to search for.
PS. The filesize settings are 'Ignore' files below/above the sizes set. (So in this case you would tell it to ignore smaller that 100MB).
However as you say it's still showing all sizes anyway then have you also left the box ticked after setting the size? The box has to be ticked for a filter to be applied.
