Duplicate Finder - Unable to Delete Files

Running the latest version of CCleaner and using the Duplicate Finder to find some files in a folder (recursively). It builds the list find, and when I select the duplicates to remove, it always comes back and says it was not able to remove them (they all remain ticked in the UI as well). What I want to know is why it cant remove them and if there is anything I can do to allow them to be removed.

I have checked the obvious bits, they are not read only, the filename and or path is not too long, no special or unusual characters in either the path or filename. I have tried moving some to a different folder and to a different drive (physically a different disk) and it still does not delete them.

I am not sure what else to try, it seems to be able to delete loads of other files without issues, its just this one lot of files. - I would export the list and make a script to do it manually, but there are too many files, some with multiples in the same dir and I need to keep them, and the format of the export is a bit of a pin to work with it. So have not gone down this route yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

Thanks, but that does not seem to have a solution yet, and dont want to piggy back on someone else's issue.

Well there are 3 different posters in that thread all with the same issue as you. Also one of the devs (Stephen Piriform) is asking for info.

Please post in that thread to help solve this issue.

Thanks.
