Well after duplicate finder is done searching it would make at 100% faster if there was a option so u with "1 click" can selec all exept 1 duplicate so u after just need to press "delete and then its done. Instead of i have to CLICK EVERY SINGLE ONE!! took me almost 20 min to do that :S
Hope u change that simple thing
otherwise keep doing ur great job with this program bcuz it Works
Sounds dangerous to me.
100% faster to delete the duplicate file from which location?
Usually programmes that make you go slowly are written like that for a reason - to make you think what you are/may be doing before you make a mistake.
(And in this case delete the wrong copy).
???? Why does my version of Cleaner not have duplicate finder?

what is your version of CCleaner that does not have duplicate file finder?
it should be found in Tools, Duplicate Finder.
A few questions about the Duplicate Finder tool:
How can I determine which duplicate file is the right one to keep?
Some files identified as "duplicate" have a different file name. What does that mean?
Are there cases in which I need both, or more, copies of a file? If so, how do I know?
TIA.

That is the reason there is no 1-click 'do it for me' button.
The program can only identify the duplicates, it's completely up to you to determine which (if any) of them really are duplicates.
That way there is only the user to blame...
As to the results having files with different names, what options were ticked in the Match By field?
Okay...well, thanks... I guess.

sadly, it is what it is.
no one, or program, should automatically pick the duplicates based on some internal logic.
only you know which of those five holiday snaps of the same name/size/date are copies and which is the master.
