Duplicate Finder finds files but cannot delete them

Hi,

I’m using CCleaner Professional Plus V7 on Windows 11.

Duplicate Finder works correctly and finds duplicate files, but when I select duplicates and try to delete them, I get the error:

“Something went wrong. We could not complete the action.”

I have already tried:

  • Running CCleaner as administrator

  • Restarting Windows

  • Reinstalling CCleaner

The files can be deleted manually through Windows Explorer, so they are not generally locked or protected.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with CCleaner V7 Duplicate Finder? Is this a known bug, and is there a recommended fix or workaround?
