Driver cannot download

I get a message “driver cannot download…” when trying to update Windows 11 for the File Explorer on 365

The driver is cpuz149_x64.sys

is this about speccy, which hasn’t been updated in years and often gets cpuz errors because of this.

Thank you for your response. This is a problem that prevents my computer from updating OneDrive when CCleaner gives an error message. Why does CCleaner sell stuff that is out or date, I wonder?

Thank you for your response. Not sure how to stop the error message so that OneDrive can finally be updated.

Onedrive isn’t a driver
What you’re saying is in ccleaner’s update software you see onedrive has an update, and it woun’t allow the update to happen because a ccleaner error message about cpuz?

As far as updating OneDrive, i’m not sure where ccleaner is pulling these new versions from, I’m on OneDrive Insider (a beta program) and ccleaner often says one drive needs an update. I, for one, ignore onedrive on ccleaner for this reason. Office/365 will keep your onedrive updated just fine.

As this is about CCleaner for Windows I have moved the topic into that forum.

Just for extra information:

But as Nergal says if/when CCleaner finds an update for OneDrive then it’s best to untick it and let Windows itself look after OneDrive.
