Drive Wiper - Question for Partition on a main drive.

Greeting,

I'd like to know the scenario of the aftermath if I use Drive Wiper to use as a wipe option "Free Space Only" on a main drive where there is a partition with Linux in it. The current OS that run CCleaner is WinXP. So, the single main drive have two partitions, Window and Linux.

My question is, will running CCleaner - Drive Wiper with an option of "Free Space Only" is going to wipe my linux partition as an empty partition? Please confirm if this is true.

Thank you

The C 'drive' is a partition, not a disk. CC will wipe the selected partition only, which in your case is partition c. The Linux partition is not being recognised by Windows so is not shown. I guess it is formatted as ext3 or similar? It will not be wiped by CC.
