I HAVE CCLEANER ON MY OTHER MACs. I download and install ccleaner for mac on this particular desktop, and it installs without problem. However, when I click on ccleaner it will not open and I get no error message. I am perplexed.

Hi @Jodyboy,
Please could you download and install CCleaner Mac via the link below and let me know if this resolves the issue for you?
I REMOVED AND DELETED ALL PRIOR DOWNLOADS AND ATTEMTPS TO INSTALL. I THEN DOWNLOAD THE FILE YOU SENT TODAY (CCMACSETUP210) AND INSTALL WAS ‘SUCCESSFUL.’ HOWEVER, WHEN I CLICK ON CCLEANER TO OPEN IT, NOTHING HAPPENS. THANKS FOR TRYING. I SHOULD NOTE I DO HAVE CCLEANER ON MY OTHER iMAC AND IT RUNS PERFECTLY. I AM AT A LOSS TO EXPLAIN.

THANKS LAWRENCE, BUT NO RESPONSE FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM FOR HELP IN RESOLVING MY ISSUE. AS NOTED EARLIER, I HAVE CCLEANER ON MY OTHER iMAC, and the app installed and worked smoothly, but it won’t open up on this computer (my iMac Intel 3.4 GHz Quad Core i5; Ventura 13.7.8 (2017 iMac). Thanks again for trying, Jodyboy
It’s been about a month and I still cannot open CCLeaner on my iMac. This topic has NOT been solved. What can I do? I have used CCleaner for many years on various computers (PC and Mac) without problem, and now I am totally stumped and exasperated. Please, can someone give me some ideas to try? Thanks, Joe
I’ve been using the free version and for the past few weeks I’ve been getting a prompt advertising a new version. I’m too scared to install it because of all the issues I’ve had. However, it could be that either the new version or an older version might help.
Thanks. I think you are correct. My iMac is a 2017 model and runs the the OS Ventura 17.8, so likely the version of CCleaner now being offered is not compatible with my older iMac. I have a much newer iMac and it installed and ran CCLeaner without any problems. I’ll try and find an older version of CCleaner to install. Thank again.
