Downloaded CC 7 and after running , it eliminated Java

Hello Support,

Earlier this week my CC cleaner upgraded to version 7. It is a different look and I have had a couple of problems with it. I have two different trading accounts that it affects. I cannot open the desktop versions of my ETrade Pro application, and my Interactive Brokers Desktop Workstation. It also affected my Think or Swim desktop application, but I was able to download the updated version and it will open, however when I download the other two, they will not finish the download, and it says the Java TM isn’t starting or something like that. I did download the latest Java version which helped the the Think or Swim app to load, but still can’t load the other two, what do you suggest?

I don’t think CCleaner v7 would interfere with other apps like that - it’s still a junk file cleaner, it’s not an Antivirus or any other kind of blocker.

Your options if it is CCleaner v7 interfering with you apps?

  1. Uninstall CCleaner altogether.
  2. Roll back to CCleaner v6.39. (Theres a ‘How to’ post with instructions on this forum).
