it takes me to the download page for an instant then goes to piriform.com home page without downloading the zip.

which seems to be the 'click here if the file doesn't download' link, takes me to the home page
Operator error?
Which browser are you using. Any anti script add-ons or anything like that. It might be worth it to try a different browser
Helps to sometimes toggle back and forth from the non-secure HTTP:// page, and the secure HTTPS:// page to see which one will work - surprisingly one might work for a moment when the other won't.
not a PICNIC error, this happens now and then, seems to be more prevalent after a new release.
I just tried the Builds page and it's working. (was last night too when I got the new version)

I am encountering the same problem. Automatic redirect bypasses the portable download page.
I just downloaded v5.28 portable build, no worries.

I had complete failure with the portable download a few days ago - just returned to the download page - but success a few minutes ago.
Well, I just returned to the download page and it is still redirecting me - in the past, with the same equipment and browser setup I have now, I was able to access the download. So, we are supposed to jump through hoops to get the portable download - could at least tell us what the hoops are. I guess we are to keep returning in the hopes of "being lucky" like the moderators above?
Can I ask if you have tried a different browser ?( if you have one on your machine)

Sometimes the issue can be to do with location, where in the world you are '' servers out of sync etc.
(make sure your system time and date is correct.. you never know)

Still doesn't work for me - in answer to #12: I've been in the same location for years using the same provider. I've tried on Firefox, Edge, and Internet Explorer. Time and date are synced. So.... just have to keep trying in hopes of a "lucky day".
One more thing to try is a Modem Reboot, sometimes that will fix web-related issues.

Same here. Download redirects to home page. Need a clean download of latest USB/portable version that works on Windows 10 64-bit.
