hi, ive tried to email 'contact us' & through the support form on this website but both times a page came up after i clicked submit saying the page had been moved so i thought i would ask on here ..
ive used ccleaner for over a year now .. today when a message popped up saying there was a newer version i clicked to download it.. from the page that opened i clicked on piriform..
then a warning page popped up with a message from my panda cloud antivirus program saying the page had been blocked as it contained malware ??
can anyone please explain why this has happened ?
i see there are a lot of people using products from piriform in the forums .. has anyone had this happen to them also ?
i should also say i find this to be a great program for me .. being able to clear things relatively fast & easily. i also have others i use in case anything is missed ..
There's already a topic on the official Panda Cloud Antivirus forums about it. It's either a false positive or the Behaviour Blocker, or that URL protection that's causing it.
Usually, I use slim CCleaner. If you use regular, use custom options so you can deselect Google Chrome download.
When I posted on the PCA forums I mentioned using either the Portable build or Slim build because of 3rd party Google software included with the Standard build that can perhaps trigger some av's. Also mentioned about it using the NSIS installer that can trigger some av's.
