I just downloaded ccleaner. I ran the health check and had several drivers that needed updated. I got the free trial for 7 days. When trying to update it says You don’t have permission. Check your access settings or contact your admin to perform action. I dont see any place for access settings and do not have an admin. This is a personal computer. Please help!
Are you running it with elevated privilages (UAC). All modern windows have an admin, your account if the only one on the PC is probably an admin account. But you still need to approve UAC.
Im not familiar with that. I did look it up and there wasnt a window that popped up asking if I wanted to allow the app to make changes. Can you guide me on what i can possibly do? Is there a setting somewhere?
Are you the only user of the pc or are there more than one account (if you and your friend (hypothetical) both use the same sign in then that counts only as one)?
Right click on the ccleaner shortcut and choose run as administrator. What happens?
