The Android version of the app isn't working on my Nexus 6P running Android 6.0 Build MDB08L. After doing a 'clean' of the cache (over 1 GB worth), select 'Analyze' again and it finds the same exact cache; nothing was deleted. Please advise.

One thing to mention though, it managed to detect some APK's i had in a user created folder and was able to delete those during the clean, but the general "cache" is not cleaned.

Well, I picked up a Moto G3 yesterday and about 25 minutes after first power-up, it notified of the 6.0 update. I allowed it. Later I got around to installing CCleaner and right there in the after-analyze screen there was a message beginning "Due to restrictions in Android 6.0..." basically saying cleaning must be done manually and no more cache cleaning. Uninstalled CCleaner.
Piriform's silence (web site, store, here) on this is deafening...
In the mean time you can clean cache from the settings
on AOSP / Stock Google Android this is settings -> Storage & USB -> Cached Data, tapping it will prompt to clean all the caches.
