Does not clean the search bar on GOOGLE

I have tried every which way but loose, but cannot get CCleaner to clear the search history on the Google search bar.

I have every option selected even the Advanced options and I am using the most current version 1.40.520.

This is true of both computers I have tried this on and they are both XP Pro SP2 machines.

Any thoughts? Anyone else noticed this?

Why don't you just set the Google Toolbar options to not "Save the search history accross browser sessions"?
