Does defraggler move the system files on a hdd (needed to shrink volume)?

I downloaded defraggler to give it a try. It looks very clean and uncluttered which gives me a sense of trust. Still 2 hours 30 minutes to go defragging 700 gb worth of data. I have a question too.

The reason I defrag this non-system F drive with data is because truecrypt could not

"shrink the filesystem to create a new volume header". After some reading it became clear

that unmovable system files could be the culprit preventing FS shrinkage. Looking at the defraggler drive map on my screen I only see 1 purple "MFT area" block positioned upper left.

Will defraggler eventually move any system files on this non-system F drive to a location so the partition will

be able to shrink? Or do I need additional tools to do this?

It said 2:30 hours to go. It is 3 hours overdue...

And no answer on this forum... hmmm.......

I retract my praise.

defragmenting takes a long time, it's a given that it'll take a whine time estimate is just that estimate based on momentarily changing data
