Does Ccleaner wipe information stored in Application Data in W files?

I was going to find some google searches in the below file but couldnt find anything. I wasnt sure if that was because of ccleaner or not

For example, in the following location-

C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Google/Local Search History/google%2Eweb there are normally W files with google searches on them. But when I went to check there was nothing. I didnt think ccleaner touched application data, can somebody tell me if this was the case or not?

Currently have ccleaner v2.33.1184 on ms windows XP SP3

Thanks!

hello kurt2121,

if this was the case or not?

yes, if it is selected in your cleaneroptions ...

do you mean google browser?

ccleaner is actually available as v5.17...

perhaps helps this for you:

Nope, this file has nothing to do with chrome. It just stores google searches.. possibly from the Google Toolbar.

I just would like to know if it was ccleaner that cleared the data. I dont see an option for application data on the ccleaner menu, so I dont know if it clears that file or not

Since they're physical files run Analyze in CCleaner and see what's displayed in the window.

Your version is outdated by several years, the current version supports your WinXP SP3 system, and you can update at:
