Does CCleaner truly delete Thumbs Cache?

Hi,

A friend of mine put me onto your excellent product, a couple of years back he was unfortunate enough to have his computer seized by the Law Enforcement agency. Fortunately there was nothing illegal on it but they found a load of thumbs cached as .dbase or something similar. Does the current edition of CCleaner truly delete these hidden files please? I just thought that it was something that we should all like to know. This is not a criticism just an enquiry.

Thank you

if you find something that you want deleted, but isn't currently covered by the default settings, it can be added by the INCLUDE function.

(or by using winapp2.ini)

but above and beyond all that, CC only deletes - not forensically erases - unless you use the Drive Wiper process.

and even then, how much confidence you place on that 'wiped' data not being able to be somehow resurrected all depends on what conspiracy theory you follow.
