I am wondering: does CCleaner differ from good old fashioned computer maintenance, such as XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I'm sorry, but that's a link to a commercial Computer cleaning site, so I've removed the link from your post.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that's it's not a deliberate spam post.

Dennis, it was nice of you to give him the benefit on your doubt but he is a commerical spammer for his own product
Link removed to fix ability of spammer to have a link available
Thanks Nergal.
I didn't want to be too hasty with him when removing the link, but I'll just dust off the "eject" button.

irony is your re posting his link legally
Of course we realized that, didn't we Nergal?
We're just checking to see if you guys are awake. Either Nergal or myself can remove it now.
Have you guys been drinking?
Have you guys been drinking?
I drunk some orange juice but I don't drink alcohol.
Back on the topic, CCleaner is considerably fast and easier to use compared to old fashioned computer maintenance techniques that are done without third party programs but CCleaner alone obviously does not have all the utility stuff needed to fully maintain the system.
Microsoft operating systems don't even have their own modules for registry cleaning whereas CCleaner does.
I hope you got the answer wide and clear from there. Good luck...
If only. I'm saving up for a bottle of Amber Nectar. Have you seen the price of it now?
