Does CC find anything other than uninstall leftovers?

I have been using CC for a couple of years and 98% of the time the description of what it has found includes the phrase, "These references are often left behind after uninstalling software." It seems, but who knows, that other registry cleaners find a fair amount of other stuff. Why doesn't CC find a range other stuff? Is my registry comprehensively cleaned or is other crap left within?

Yes, other cleaners find more because they are aggressive, and such cleaning often yields adverse results. CCleaner's reg cleaner is less aggressive (lighter) and generally safer.
