Hello everyone, I'm running the latest version of ccleaner and seemed to have come across a bug. In previous versions of ccleaner I was able to run the program any time I'd right click on my objectdock shortcut of the recycle bin. Now, since upgrading that feature doesn't seem to work anymore. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ccleaner to see if that would help, but so far, this hasn't changed and looking through objectdock's support site, there doesn't seem to be any reports about this as yet. Any ideas? Solutions? I'd really appreciate it.
When you install the newest update of CCleaner, you will need to select the option to Add CCleaner to the Recycle Bin context menu.
If you install & unselect all the options, it will undo what you did prior. It may also undo it if you run registry cleaning programs, & haven't saved the settings to .ini
You might consider going into the advanced settings under options, then save the settings to .ini
They stick better that way.
Once this is completed, you should be able to once again right click on the recycle bin & choose run ccleaner.
