First time this has ever happened. Ran CCleaner earlier today, including the registry cleaner. Oddly, there was a mess of stuff found in the registry. CC saved the backup, then deleted all the junk. A few minutes ago, I tried to access my LastPass program, which keeps track of passwords and other data, and discovered all my passwords and everything are gone. The program is empty.
Question: how do I restore the registry backup? I've read all the Help stuff I can find. It all tells me how to save the backup file but nothing on how to restore it. Appreciate your help.
Thanks for the tip. Everything is back. But that leaves me with a registry with a mess of junk in it. Must I stop using CCleaner, at least the Registry part of it? Wonder why this happened now. I've been using CC for over a year with LastPass and have never had a problem. I'm using version 3.02 of CC. Is this the latest version available? I'll ask LastPass about conflicts they might be aware of with CC, and will try to update the LP version.

You can input what you want CCleaner to Exclude either Drive/File/Folder/Registry Key by going into:
Options->Exclude
Also don't forget to untick any program cleaning you don't want done located in the large Cleaner button.

CCleaner is updated historically about once a month, and sometimes will include more thorough cleaning of a program. You can keep track of those changes in the Announcements area of the forum, or by viewing the change log on FileHippo.com for any particular version.
