I have seen other older posts but no response to having an option in the command line version of defraggler to exclude files, and folders, or to exclude by extension. Is there any plan to include this in the future?
I can see the convenience of command line to defrag a chosen folder/file,
and if needed to repeat with different arguments each time to work through a quantity of choices.
Trying to use a command line to defrag a partition but exclude a quantity of specific exclusions might require many arguments on the one line,
and they need to be typed correctly - I would find it easier and quicker to launch the GUI.
I am actually running this as a task from logmein Pro's one2many where i have the defraggler portable version deployed into a folder on all machines. I then setup the task to run the df.exe and am looking to write exclusions to either folders like microsoft sql and access databases, or exclude files with extensions like *.mdf, *.ldf so it will exclude any of these it comes across.
