So I set this up and tested it. Quite amazing, it is! There I was viewing (and controlling) my desktop from my notebook. Besides the program itself, I was also amazed that other than having to "allow" and the popups the firewalls generate, there were no issues with them or my router and that the connection is instantaneous. They must have huge servers. You install the "Full Version" on the PC you are going to be using in the remote sessions. You install the "TeamViewer Host" on the PC you want to control or repair or whatever. The host service is set to start auto so until you need it you may want to set it to manual on your sons PC. Have fun with it!
