deletions in recent places after running ccleaner

Hi

The last time i ran ccleaner 3.17 my recent places disappered, which were links to items i needed.

I had to resend them from another pc to be able to open sites,

Is there a reason why this would have affected the search window in the start menu that these items would have been deleted?

Windows 7 HP 64 bit, toshiba satellite laptop c655

Have you tried to uncheck "Recent Documents" under "Windows Explorer"?

i just downloaded the new version so will look at those

tkswhen i downloaded the new version i took the checks out of recycloe bin items, do those have any connection to my issue, was documents or something else in that category?
