Hello,I have just joined as a "newbie pensioner"! I have had the free versions for a few years now(and very much appreciated),but since I downloaded the latest version a couple of weeks ago,I seem to be having the same problem (not being able to delete ALL cookies). On the other hand,Ive just read another thread on your forums about "Flash Cookies"-I couldnt cope with that ...
OOps!,nearly forgot,Windows XP sp3 and Google homepage.
Windows OS iam using, firefox is my browser... hlp me to solve the problem
Some possibilities come to mind.
Firstly, if you're not already doing so, close your browsers before running CCleaner. If necessary, check with Task Manager, Ctrl-Alt-Del, to make sure they're not still running.
Secondly, make sure you have "Adobe Flash Player" checked in "Applications\Multimedia".
Thirdly, if you use, or have used another browser such as Opera, make sure it's checked under "Applications". I believe that sometimes Opera isn't checked by default.
Hope that helps, and welcome to the forum to both of you.

Spot on "DennisD"!-, It was your 2nd option. The Flash player wasnt checked.I cant remember un-checking it myself,so is that the default position on the latest free version?.Anyway, many thanks.
