I recently deleted my google chrome history and now I want to restore it.Does anyone know where to find it and how to restore it.Also where are the other locations in windows where it stores browsing history and passwords
You need to state what Windows operating system you're using (i.e.; XP, Vista, 7, 8, etc,) in order for someone to know where the locations will be.
Windows 7 64 bit SP1
Assuming you're on windows, you can restore it using Recuva. The files will have been in %LocalAppData%\Google\Chrome\User Data\(Your user or Default)\
The history files are Archived History, Archived History-Journal, Current Session, Current Tabs, History, History Index (dates)(-journal), History Provider Cache, History-Journal, last session, last tabs
None will have a file extension.
Will I need a special program to read them after I restore them or can I use google chrome to read them
Google Chrome will act as if nothing happened to them if you successfully restore them to the proper place.

What folder should i restore all the files to that recuva recovers? It is making me pick a location via "browse" button. i want chrome history to go back to how it was.

Much too spammy. A three-year-old thread, and it looks as if Mr Killjoy hasn't bothered to read it.
