Hi there,
Like an idiots i deleted my Ableton projects around 15 of them and cleared the bin after that. There is at least 5, 6 projects that i really need back because i wanted to use it for an album. I downloaded Recuva on the Friday night and started a deep scan. It been scanning for more than 48h now. Stage 1 of 3, current progress : 25% 2070788 file(s) found and estimated time 6 days. I really need those files but at the same time i need to use my computer to work. I know my projects names in ".als" can i scan for a special type of file or i know where it was located maybe that would be quicker or is it better to go for the deep scan just too make sure? would it really take 6 days or more because it keep on rising?
My computer specs: windows 7, 64-bit, i5 cpu 650 @ 3.20ghz, 8 ram, nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti.
Thank you.
If you deleted them from the recycle bin have you asked recuva to only scan for deleted files?

i'm not sure what i did it was almost 3 days ago now. it's says All local disks and i put on the searh c:/Users/user/desktop. Estimated time is now 7 days. I did delete it from the bin! should i just cancel it and do recycle bin scan instead? would it be quicker?
As I don't know your machine and what is on it so I cannot really say.
However it doesn't sound like a week is a possible time to wait for you.
well it's up to 9 days now... i don't know what to do..
and i can't scan only some .als files for example?
i stopped the deep scan and i recovered 3 4 tracks. I'm doing a new scan with the exact location of the old folder it seems to be done in 2 hours i'll just try that...
