Defraggler uses units incorrectly

After running Defraggler today I happened to look at the free and used space as well as the drive capacity.

The program displays my drive capacity as 747,691,307,008 bytes 696.3 GB.

While the display for the capacity as the total number individual bytes is correct, the number of gigabytes displayed is not. A gigabyte (GB) is 1,000,000,000 bytes.

Piriform is inapproriately using a giga (G) as a binary prefix multiple in contravention to BIPM SI usage rules.

For the numeric value displayed, the correct unit would be the GiB. 1 GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes

while I don't disagree, the whole MB vs MiB and GB vs GiB etc is simply lost on the general public.

only us geeks care about being so pedantic.

Ma and Pa Kettle are happy when it's explained as a 'rounding error'. :)
