ver. 2.14.705 is running very slow? Analyze or Defrag of Freespace, the Building list takes 5 mins to get to 50%.... All your past versions took less than 10 seconds to start.
(Using Win XP - SP3, dual core intel & 3gb of ram)
ver. 2.14.705 is running much slower on Windows 8 for me also - extremely slow to the point that it's not useable. Also, much slower on my XP PC. Seems like a completely different program since update to 2.14.705.
I uninstalled it and went back to ver. 2.13.670, which runs much, much faster.
I have noticed the same behavior using Windows 8 Professional. The previous version worked fine, but 2.14.705. is so slow as to be unusable. I opened task manager and the CPU useage was very high. I have uninstalled the new version and reinstalled version 2.13.670 which runs fine.
appx: 2 hours after using 2.14.705 yesterday, I did an uninstall & went back to 2.13.670
