Defraggler appears to handle small files very badly

Defraggler seems to do a good job of handling large files. But when it has to deal with large numbers of small files, the run times for a defragment operation can go into hours, and even days.

Could a better algorithm be devised to deal with this specific situation? It may help with the frequently-seen complaints that "Defraggler is too slow"...

Thanks!

for me it's the opposite

Something's wrong here, - how much stuff do you have on that PC, John Gray? In GB? If your anti-malware program are on while defragging that could add to the amount of time used. Try to run Defraggler with all AV disabled.
