Hi there,
Since 1h I searched for an answer, but don't find the right way.
I defraged my 1TB (~200GB freespace) HDD, for a long long while. Now I try to defrag freespace (whole files) and it will takes again a
long time. Why?
I defraged the HDD some minutes a go. Is the defrag freespace process not included in the normal defrag? Why?
It's an understanding problem. When a tool defrag the HDD, it's not necessary to defrag the free space?
What's the perfect procedure?
Normal Defrag > Defrag Free Space (whole files)?
Just Defrag Free Space?
I can't sleep, when I don't unterstand how something works.
Thanks for a constructive response.
