I have the latest version of Defraggler, Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, Pentium D 3G CPU, 2G RAM DDR2, and a 160GB SATA2 WD HDD.
I'm trying to defrag the D partition, which is 100GB, with 15GB free space. It's taking forever, there's HDD activity, but very slow, and the CPU is at 100% (50% 1 core).
I looked at the help page, and searched the forums, i found a user reporting this issue recently, but no reply.
Pentium D sucks, change ur CPU and MOBO, get Core2duo.
I know you are trying to be helpful but his CPU might not be the reason why it's taking so long to defag. This could be a bug. How long is "forever"??? I would recommend gaining some free space though. 15GB of free space is pretty low on any hard drive.

Be respectful dude, don't you think i know that this CPU is old, but it's not the cause!

Thank you for replying, seems it was just a few files that did that, it took like 5 hours in a couple of files. After it was done with them it went into fifth gear.
