Defrag so files load alphabetically

I have an entire hard drive of videos that are titled from a-z. When I load the hard drive on my PS3 it loads in the order they were put on the drive(I can tell).

When I defragment the drive I know it should help with loading speed, but is there anyway to make it sort by aplhabet. Kinda like how on a cd, track 1 is written, then track 2, etc. so that the read head has to move less and in a sensical order.

I like your idea. I just wish they had a few options:

- Sort by last used time stamp (lesser used files put on slower part of drive)

- Sort by system files attribute (group system files together, followed by user, followed by free space) which would be the ultimate defrag

- Sort by folder (windows folder 1st, then program files folder, then user folders, then free space) which would be like system files attribute, & possibly better

+1 from me.

Needs about 5 main options people can choose from, including perhaps, a custom filter.
