Hello ya'll. I installed Defraggler on my NTFS system drive and was wondering if it's a good idea to use it to defrag both my Archos5 and Android phone running FAT32.
Thanks a lot! O.

It's not advisable to defrag a flash drive / solid state drive because you'll reduce their life expectancy.
Furthermore since there are no moving parts a fragmented file system will not impact on read performance.

Thank you very much, redhawk!
So this goes to my Android, which indeed has a solid state drive.
The Archos, however, is a 250GB hard drive. What would you kindly advise in this case?
Can anyone please recommend what action I should take..?
Thanks!
I don't see any problem defragging the Archos although I suspect you won't see much difference afterwards.
