I want to restore my system settings but when I try to merge the .reg file xp gives me the no program association message. What program is the default program to merge the .reg file?
regedit.exe
File > Import
Look at: 2. When you try to restore a Registry backup in Windows XP, it fails. (Advanced)
The instructions in the docs will also repair your system and allow it to properly import .REG files, since you're using WinXP.
