De-activate on a dead computer

My Surface Pro 7 will not boot up. I want to move a copy of ccleaner to a different computer.

Swapping your CCleaner Pro licence from an old or broken machine to a new/different one is allowed, and is pretty easy to do.

You do it by downloading CCleaner Free to the new/other computer and then using your existing licence key to register/activate it as Pro.

You can download the installer for the latest version from here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds

You should then of course uninstall CCleaner Pro from the 'old' computer, but if you can't boot it then you can't do that.

However that is not a problem if the old machine is kaput - as long as you are not using CCleaner Pro on more devices at the same time than you licence allows that's fine.

And yes they do check, and they do cancel licences that are being used on more machines than that particular licence allows.
