Damage to Dell notebook sleep wakeup?

I suspect a correlation between a regestry sweep and my machine's inability to wake from sleep or hibernation. Power remains on yet nothing except a hard reboot will get the machine running.

Sleep, hibernation settings have been examined thoroughly.

Dell Inspiron N5110

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Are you saying that you ran a registry clean with ccleaner ?

If so did you save the backup when offered the choice to do so?

Is your keyboard allowed to wake up the machine in settings?
