I am getting the same thing. Every time I update Ccleaner it crashes. I have removed it, reinstalled it and still it happens and not just on my PC but also my wife's laptop.

Need more info. What operating system are you running.

What security software do you have?

Where are you updating CCleaner from, a web page or from within the program?

What version and build of CCleaner do you have?
