CPU core temperature reporting

Over the holidays, the fan on my i5 CPU cooler went out. Replaced the fan, and was keeping tabs on temps with an old version of Speccy. Decided to update to latest Speccy last night and reported temps immediately jumped 10 plus degrees Fahrenheit.

Downloaded both RealTemp and Core Temp programs this morning, and they each report similar temps to what I was getting with Speccy 1.01, while Speccy 1.19 continues to report temps 10 - 20 degrees F hotter. See attached .png.

To test this I now installed v1.19 over 1.18. All temps were identical, and CPU concurs with CoreTemp, 17Cº/63ºF.

"CPU concurs with CoreTemp, 17Cº/63ºF"

That's below room temperature, unless you live in Canada.

Colorado, very cold day. Room is at 65ºF. Would go broke trying to keep this drafty place much warmer.
