In my CCleaner there are about 100 cookies in the section "to be removed", but they just don't get removed.
I read somewhere that this was caused by the "smart scan" that is offered at the time of installation. This scan I did indeed (why?).
The solution would be: uninstall CCleaner and re-install without this scan.
Meanwhile, I re-installed CCleaner about 5 times without this "intelligent scan" and I searched a lot on the internet, but these 100 cookies are still in the same place.
When you left-click (highlight) one of these cookies in the list and then look at the bottom of that page what icon does it show e.g IE, Firefox, Flash etc.
What is your operating system and default browser?
Operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bits. Default browser is at the moment Comodo Dragon.
After reading several topics on this forum about comparable problems I was able to remove the majority of these cookies through the AppData.
Since then there are 15 stubborn cookies left: 9 from Internet Explorer and 6 from Chromium. When I move them temporarily to the "keep"-section it is possible to "export" them and after that I can read them in a Notepad-file. But there it stops.
