Cookies in CCleaner 3.09

Hi,

Since updating to CCleaner 3.09, I have been unable to diaplay the list of cookies on my computer in CCleaner . I am using Firefox 5.0 on Windows 7 64-bit.

I have a number of cookies that I like to retain, and have these selected in the "cookies to keep" panel of CCleaner. Since updating CCleaner, the "cookies to delete" panel has remained empty and, no matter how much browsing I have done, no new cookies appear in CCleaner. The cookies do appear in the "show cookies" feature in Firefox 5.0.

The bottom line here, is that once my saved cookies expire, I am no longer able to select the fresh cookies to retain them in CCleaner. Thus, I am constantly having to login to various sites, as there is no cookie in place after running CCleaner.

As much as I love CCleaner, this has become annoying. Is there a known problem here? Or perhaps a solution? I am considering going back to an older version that works, and staying there.

Many thanks,

CCleaner can't read the cookies if any process of firefox is still running (not a "deficency" in CCleaner but in SQLlite Databases). Open Task manager, go to the processes tab and make sure nothing is keeping firefox.exe running
