Cookies and v2.14.763

Cookies in my "Cookies to Keep" list are being purged with each clean; even if I uncheck the "Cookies" option on the Cleaner they disappear.

Result? Having to log-in to various sites that normally do not require me to do so. Happens every time after I've run Cleaner.

Anyone else with this problem in the latest version? HELP!

Hello qerencia,

Welcome !!! :D

What browsers and versions are you using ? Some browsers are causing conflicts.

Tells us about your OS and version and edition. This is at the upper left of CCleaner window.

Thanks,

Are you using Firefox?

If you downloaded the latest version of cleaner (2.14) before 1st December please re-download as a newer version (same build number) was brought out on that date due to a problem with firefox .

I'm using Win XP Pro SP 3 and IE 7 version 7.0.5730.11

I may have misunderstood what you are saying.

Are you saying that the "Cookies to Keep" list as shown in CCleaner is being deleted ?

When you run CCleaner and then look at that list is the list still there ?

How many CCleaner users are there on your PC ?

P.S. The reason I want to clarify this is the fact that I use only IE7 and I also use WinXP Pro SP3.

CCleaner does not delete any of my "Cookies to Keep" from my "cookies" folder at C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\Cookies .

Are these "cookies to keep" showing in the Analysis list to be deleted ? None of mine show in this Analysis list.

Some of these sites may be using "Flash Cookies" and not normal "cookies".

You may want to turn off the option to clean at Cleaner > Applications tab > Multimedia > Adobe Flash Player until you review the following thread and decide what to do about your "flash cookies".
